To celebrate the recent show I’ve seen of New Order freshly reformed,
I introduce you a band wich sound like them at the very begining.
I’m sure you’ll like them.

Chromatics are back !!!
So don’t make a deal with God, don’t go running up that hill but listen to them !
You know we love Italians Do It Better (see Glass Candy) so we’re very happy to hear a new track from this band.
If you like this sound you can listen to Drive (the movie) soundtrack which contains an old song from the Chromatics and a brilliant song from Desire (another Italian Do It better great release).
This refreshing synthpop song will make us wait for the new Everything But The Girl album (in 2012?)

I immediatly fell in love with this amazing athmospheric pop song.
It’s hard to describe this kind of music.
Pirchfork talk about Goth Pop.
Another new genre ?
(Sorry for the video, I couldn’t find a less boring one)

I always had respect for the label Club AC30.
They’ve been supporting shoegazing bands for ages, a long time before it was fashionable.
They made 3 interesting compilations “Never loose that feeling”(named for a song of Swervedriver) where new shoegazing bands cover old shoegazing bands. A must !
The brand new album of Club AC30′s Deep Cut just came out.
And Commodity an old good one:
The most horrible video of this year….
For the most catchy indie-pop song of this year.

Despite their name, Savoir Adore are not a french band but a man-girl duo from Brooklyn.
They do amazing pop songs.
Here is their new one:
An old good one:
mp3: Savoir Adore – We Talk Like Machines
They’ve been waiting 8 years realising their 2nd album !
Listening to it, I think it was worth the wait.
What do you think:
This band was formed only a year ago.
When you hear how they sound, you can imagine how big they will be in a year…

EDIT: Don’t merge them with Kill Van Kull !!!!!!
